  • Poor diet and/or lack of adequate physical exercise
  • Lack of personal interaction skills demonstrated by lying, cheating, stealing
  • A less than favorable neighborhood, community or school
  • A questionable or inappropriate peer group
  • A lack of parental support and guidance
  • Excessive impulsivity
  • Diagnosed ADD or ADHD
  • Rebelliousness or nonconformity
