Children At Risk testimonials
"Karen Wagner saved my daughter. Kathleen was beyond being an "at risk" teenager... she was almost a "goner". I had tried everything and every school without any success. Karen knew how to really connect with Kathleen and it was evident to everyone that Karen genuinely cared. By working with my daughter and developing custom tailored and creative alternative education solutions, Karen literally turned Kathleen around: In a week, Kathleen starts college as a Physics/Pre-Med major... a few years ago, it didn't look like she would even finish High School. Thanks, Karen."

Where/to whom does a parent turn when a child deviates from the expected norm of behavior and all sense of control is lost?
I firmly believe that my child would be dead now if it wasn’t for Karen Wagner. She was the Educational Director of Polestar in Atlanta at the time that we approached her about accepting our daughter into the expeditionary learning program. We had bounced from private elementary and middle school, to public high school, to private boarding/sport school in another state. We visited doctors and counselors, tested for learning disabilities, tried various medications, and nothing seemed to make either our daughter’s or our lives better. We were all in a vicious downward spiral that could not be turned. Until we met Karen. Until we enrolled our daughter in Polestar.
We had the privilege of Karen in our lives for 15 months, during which time our daughter metamorphosed from an out-of-control teenager into a college-bound high school graduate (with scholarship awards), who was once again caring, motivated and back in control of herself, her environment, and her future.
How did Karen Wagner turn this child around?
Karen gave our child a safe harbor; a place to go every day where she received a consistent, alternative education. She learned to do her work independently. She learned to go out into the world and bring it back into the classroom. She learned to lead others, and learn from others. She learned to be confident in herself. It didn’t happen overnight. The downward spiral didn’t turn for many months. Karen held up our family during this transition. She was our mentor and tutor in the analysis and guidance of a troubled teenager. And she was always positive. That’s what made her so great-she believed in the children, and in their ability to become productive, independent thinkers who would in their turn contribute to the greater cause of the world we live in. And the children believed in her, and in themselves. And they became. It was beautiful to watch. It was awesome to see it happen to my child. And it is ongoing.
What did Karen Wagner give us?
Karen gave us hope when there was none. Karen gave us the encouragement to rise above our discouragement and have faith that our daughter would come around. She gave us moral support when we could barely face another day in the life of a miserable kid. She taught me to use my energy in a positive manner to love and hold my child up in the face of adversity. How many people have done that for you?
Where are we now?
We are the proud parents of a wonderful 19-year-old daughter who finished her first year of college on the dean’s list; who has returned to her sport after a 2-year hiatus (and finally learned the true meaning of “team player”); who has already selected her next learning institution to attend; and who believes that whatever her final major will be-she will be the best at it. We are so blessed to have had Karen in our lives.

Parental Alienation Testimonials
Hi, I am the father of eight children and involved in a bitter and hateful child custody dispute. It involved parental alienation syndrome, false sexual allegations and visitation. My children are highly at risk and the assistance and direction I have received from Wagner Consulting Services has been priceless. I found myself in a situation I never dreamed could happen and without a clue how to proceed. My children, highly at risk of both psychological and emotion damage looked to me, hoping that I could fix the situation. Divorce itself was devastating, and trying to do what was best for my children and keep my life in balance seemed overwhelming.
Karen Wagner along with her network and the Delta Team, rescued me from a terrible situation with immediate assistance and involvement. Not distant advice of what I could or should do, but hands on, whatever it takes, kind of involvement. I found myself emotionally smashed from the divorce but still having to make seek direction and make decisions where I had no experience. Because of her professional expertise and deep caring for all children, I was able to fight for the most important part of my life, my children and regain control of my life. I have been involved with Karen for about a year now. I was hopelessly outgunned and outmaneuvered by the divorce and Wagner Consulting Services helped level the playing field and protect my children while we were all caught up in a whirlwind.
I highly recommend her and am available to talk personally with you if you would like. Karen knows how to reach me.

Supervised Visitation Testimonials
May 2005
Dear Karen,
Thank you so much for arranging supervised visitation for me and my children on such short notice. Michael was the perfect choice; he gave me enough room to be with my children, not be overbearing, and still oversee our visit on a professional level. I appreciated his “covert” style of supervision. It was like the kids were spending time with their dad and uncle. I highly recommend your services and will be using them again the near future.
