The mission of Wagner Consulting Services is to use education strategies and practices to improve the lives of children and families.
The goal of supervised visitation is to provide a safe and comfortable space for children to connect or reconnect with their parents.
Children whose parents cannot get along are “at-risk”.
Regardless of whoever is paying for our services, YOUR CHILD IS OUR CLIENT!
Children learn what they see AND HEAR and if you wish to raise a well adjusted child then it would best serve you and your child for you to refrain from any negativity regarding the other parent while in the presence of your child. Discussion of child support, visitation or any other contentious issue that you have with your former spouse is completely INAPPROPRIATE and ultimately HARMS YOUR CHILD.
WCS will NOT tolerate any discussion, other than in positive terms, of your former spouse in front of your child/children. Violation of this will result in a letter to the court and cancellation of your visitation services. This applies to both custodial and non-custodial parents!
What WCS provides:
As our mission states, we use education strategies and practices. These include:
- Developmentally appropriate games and activities for your child.
- A safe and healthy environment for your visits at private homes and public places.
- Court ordered supervision will be provided as per your specific court order.
- Security for your child while under our care.
- Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that your court order is followed.
- Additional consulting services can also be provided which include: anger management, evaluations of your child, divorce and post-divorce consulting, communication skills, dispute resolution, mediation services, forensic evaluations and expert witness service. Please ask about our other services
- A safe and secure drop off and pick up protocol that ensures no contact between the parents.
- Written reports delivered to you within 48 hours detailing the visits.
Our rates are $50 per hour and we will provide supervision anywhere that we can assess security risks.
What WCS does not provide:
We are NOT mediators for your custody issues unless expressly hired to do such work. All visitation arrangements must be made within 48 hours of the visit by the parents involved. WCS as a visitation service facilitates a safe and healthy visit but does not act as a “go between” for the parents unless expressly retained for such services.
- Our supervisors are non biased and non judgmental. All custody disputes involve at least two versions of the story. We do not take sides in your custody battle but ALWAYS have the best interest of your child or children in mind.
- For that reason, we DO NOT want to hear your “story” and ask you to consider retaining us for consulting work if you have the strong inclination to tell your story and to refrain from any attempts to enroll our supervisors in your dispute.
